Tired

Sorry for the lack of updates. This new job I've taken on has been tying up alot of my time. Even now, I'm actually currently blogging from a 1901 hot dog stand in KLIA, while waiting for my flight to Bangkok. Normally, I'd be excited about traveling, particularly when the place is far, but not this time. Why? Because since I acquired this new job 2 months back, all I've been doing is travel. I can't even remember the last time I had a full weekend to rest and recoup. Sigh..

Like the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side. When I was attached with my previous job, I always wished I could travel, even for work. But now that I'm traveling, I wish I could have the more relaxed work load and the non-work weekends of my previous job. Yea.. i know... petty, petty me..

I need to learn to be like Paul, who said in Philippians 4:11-13 :

"I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength."

Have an outstanding week, and if you're in need of strength, ask Him. That's what I'll be doing...

When I say "I am a Christian"... - Carol Wimme

When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I'm not shouting, "I've been saved!"
I'm whispering, "I get lost!
That's why I chose this way"

When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I don't speak with human pride
I'm confessing that I stumble
-needing God to be my guide

When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I'm not trying to be strong
I'm professing that I'm weak
and pray for strength to carry on

When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I'm not bragging of success
I'm admitting that I've failed
and cannot ever pay the debt

When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I don't think I know it all
I submit to my confusion
asking humbly to be taught

When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I'm not claiming to be perfect
My flaws are far too visible
but God believes I'm worth it

When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartache
which is why I seek His name

When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I do not wish to judge
I have no authority-
-I only know I'm loved
